This does not smell the best. Basically just smells like wax? Which I guess is fine considering it's for dogs. I used on my small sensitive yorkie and it worked well. No reactions and softened up his little paws. I also used on my own dry hands and works well for that too!

It's been a brutal winter, and the salt has played havoc with my dog's paws (he's a recent rescue from the south). This balm has been very helpful in dealing with his paw pads that have had to adjust to all the salt and snow. The balm soothes his cracked paws, and blends into them easily. He's not interested in licking it off, which is nice, but it's nicer to know that even if he did, it wouldn't harm him. It's lightly scented but not perfumed. 5/5
